Christine, both of these workshops are very relevant to our work in ECEC and both organizations hold excellent workshops/conferences. I am sorry I missed you at the ECEBC Conference and equally sorry I missed the Playful Literacy workshop.
ReplyDeleteWhen you think about leadership, what were some of the main "take aways" from the leadership day concerning Play or from the Building Leadership in ECE? In connecting to your pro-d, there is a natural tie in to ECED 150 (The ECE Professional) but also to ECEC 202 Administration and Leadership. One question comes to mind... is a manger (ECE) always a leader? How do we see ourselves as leaders in the field, regardless of the position we hold? How can we help children to be leaders?
